Little Eve turned 1 and it’s time to celebrate! We had a cake smash session in their SW Calgary home a couple weekends ago, and it was quite the time. This was the second time I had the chance of photographing this beautiful family, and the first time I have seen them in a few years. The family moved to New Zealand a couple years back for 14 months and had some adventures over seas. It was great to hear about the fun they had, but they are glad to be back in Canada … and of course miss the warm weather all year around lol ;)
We started off the cake smash in mom and dads room for a quick family photo …… needless to say it was a good thing I have a quick trigger finger because little miss Eve did not want to stay in one spot for long lol …On to the smashing! Mom brought the balloons for the shoot (super cute by the way), and I made some tissue paper flowers. It was super quick and easy to do. Check out my Pinterest page under the “Fun DIY Stuff” board here to see the directions I used. Warning though if you have cats and are going to try and make these then I would suggest locking your cats out of the room … mine were wanting to play and eat the tissue paper every time I moved it lol!Mom had this beautiful, and might I add delicious, cake made for the smash … mmmmmmmEve wasn’t sure what to think about putting her fingers in there, and was concentrating very hard ;)… and finally had a taste lol …I love this big giggle picture! Some sweet … … and of course who wouldn’t be thirsty after some cake? I love her big beautiful eyes in this picture! If you like what you see make sure to comment on the blog, and click here to book your own cake smash session today!
